I remember being 16, mum driving me to weddings, and people doubting my abilities. I had to earn respect for everything, and learned quickly that my actions and attitudes had a profound impact on their experience.
People looked to be guided into just the right light, the right places, be arranged properly, and subtly change things to look relaxed. Compositions needed to be balanced, have variety, contrast, unity and appropriate proportions. There needed to be a sense of fun and enjoyment without feeling hassled. They wanted the reassurance of experience, someone trained and practiced in their event to understand and guide whilst still achieving great imagery.
Quality Without Compromise.
